SUSHI HANDROLL, founded in 2021, has been making a lot of noise thanks to our diverse menu concept, which is perfectly paired with a new and different approach to Japanese cuisine.
In 2021, having set up our first shop in Ilford, Sushi Handroll has gone through leaps and bounds which has consequently led to the opening of 7 more extravagant stores located all around London. Our aim is for the name to ring bells when the words “high quality and fresh Sushi” are mentioned and to have the reputation of being one of the best Sushi Restaurants in London.
We now have 7 sushi restaurants and takeout’s in London that delight Londoners with our mouth-watering sushi and hot food!
We have a variety of sushi’s that can please sushi lovers worldwide. These include the likes of our unique special rolls and crunchy rolls topped with fried onions with many favourites to choose from.

WE DON’T USE ANY RICE; WE USE SUSHI RICE.
Rice is sushi, that’s why we use the same rice you’ll find in the UKs top sushi restaurants. Carefully milled in the Po Valley, Northern Italy. Mother nature’s rich Mediterranean sun melts the snow sitting high on the Alps giving the rice fields we source from everything they need to grow. Our premium grade short grain rice is designed specifically for sushi – its texture and natural stickiness is perfect for sushi.
OUR MISSION TO BECOME MORE ECOLOGIOCAL
We believe sustainability makes good seafood taste even better. So we’re working hard to make sure all our fish and seafood is responsibly sourced. Our suppliers are also committed to animal welfare. We aim to only serve yellowfin tuna and albacore as opposed to bluefin tuna because it’s endangered. We’re always looking for ways to serve more sustainably and responsibly sourced seafood.
TOO GOOD TO GO
Sushi Handroll are partnered with Too Good to Go with the aim to reduce food waste. This prevented 52,652 meals being wasted in 2022.
Too Good To Go’s mission is to ‘inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste’. The Too Good To Go app lets you buy and collect surplus food so it can be enjoyed instead of wasted. We have been working with Too Good To Go since June 2022 and are proud to have all Sushi Handroll stores across the UK, part of this initiative, helping fight foƒod waste.
